I apologize for the lateness of this post. I have four kids playing baseball which means we are in the last week of games, it's the last week of school which means, awards assemblies, field day etc and a special weekend for my son who turned 8.
Needless to say, I have been very busy and I am just now getting to my posting.
So this week at the Friday Mashup, Tara is our hostess and she is challenging all of us to "Bust A Move" or in other words, make a card with a moving feature.
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
- Create a project with "Stripes".
- Create a project with "Movable or Removable elements".
- or Mashup it Up! and create a project with "Movable Elements & Stripes".
As I thought about what I wanted to do for my card, I decided a nice waterfall card with the new stamp set, Something for Baby would be fun. I like waterfall cards because they are different, but still get your message across. Now if you've never made a waterfall card, here is a really great tutorial on them.
So the way a waterfall card works is that when you pull the tab at the bottom, all the different images will cascade down as you look at the card. Fun!!
I should have taken a picture of the card in action, but a lass I didn't think about it until now.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by today and head over to The Friday Mashup blog to check out the other fun "move" you can make with a card!!
Happy Stamping!
Lynda, this is so cute! I just got this set and am smitten with it! I am imagining how adorable the images are inside it. Great take on the theme this week!
