It's A Celebration!!

Good Morning to everyone!!! Today is exciting because it's another post for the Stampin' Celebration Challenge. I don't know if you remember, but I joined their Design Team last month. Anyway, today's inspiration picture, was a bit of a "challenge" for me, but I was pretty pleased with the outcome.

Ok, so that little bunny in the top right corner is so adorable!!! I just couldn't get enough of him. However, I didn't have a bunny stamp, so I based my card off of the eggs you see right above. If you look at them closely, there are so many different little details on them. They inspired me to go vintage.

So I did a couple things to create the effect I wanted. First I took the doily and used it as a stencil to create the background on the card. Of course, this made the doily kind of brown (I used crumb cake ink with alcohol in a Spritzer) so I just finished spraying the doily and then crumpled it. You heard me right I just crumpled it! Next I stamped my image, cut it out with a circle framelit and assembled the rest of the card.

To give the last finishing touch, I took the smallest pearl and covered the buttons on the telephone with it.

I created this card with someone specific in mind and I find that to be very helpful. Now I challenge you to go over the Stampin' Celebration Blog and see the other design team members have done. They are all very talented ladies.!!
